Kombadi Wade Peeth or Malvani Vade Peeth is a traditional flour mix used to make spicy and flavorful deep-fried fritters.
Instructions:
- Take 1 cup of Kombadi Wade Peeth mix in a bowl.
- Add finely chopped onions, green chilies, fresh coriander leaves, curry leaves (optional), grated coconut (optional), salt to taste, and a pinch of turmeric powder (optional).
- Mix well and knead into a stiff dough using water as needed.
- Divide the dough into small portions and shape each portion into a flat round disc or vada shape.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan (kadhai) and fry the vadas on medium heat until they turn golden brown and crisp.
- Serve hot with green chutney, tamarind chutney, or as a side dish with a Maharashtrian meal.
